How long does the trial period last?
The trial period for using our backup software lasts for a total of 30 days. To use

Is the trial period of your backup software really free?
Yes, it is totally free. Free as in freedom. We feel that it is best for our
clients to get a feel for what GigSafe.com is all about, so we allow you to try out
backing up your data on our servers FREE for a limited amount of time.
What am I able to backup?
Our offsite data backup software can be configured to backup data from any
accessible drive or disk on your LAN. In fact, with the use of a single user account
you can backup information from multiple computers at completely different locations,
not just on your LAN.
Where can I restore my data?
Since all your data is backuped on our servers, any computer that has access to the
Internet, and which also has our backup software installed and configured to use the
same account, can recover and restore your data.
Is the backup software automated?
The offsite data backup software we provide you is completely automated, taking the
possibility of human error out of the picture. You have the control to schedule the times
of all of your backups, and each scheduled backup will take place exactly at the specified
time.
What happens during a scheduled backup?
During a scheduled backup a connection to the Internet is made, your files are
encrypted and compressed, and then transmitted automatically to our backup servers, all
without the need for user prompting.
Is there a charge to restore my data?
There is no charge to restore your data from our servers. The only charges you will pay
are the fees to use our backup services after the trial period ends.
